Begin

Walking past this expanse of ground, it strikes me how it is tilled and ready for planting, but not planted yet- the conditions have to be right, seeds have to be gathered. I feel an excitement and a trepidation at the same time; I feel the urge to begin a project- the next stage of completing my album- but am also aware of the 'what-ifs' present when I start to imagine a first step. Still, I know the feeling somewhere in me of this fertile earth and some creative power is ready to come into being... my task this week is to get to know this feeling rather than try to rush myself, to trust my own creative process.
